  1. where is that sexy photo of you on the about page?

  2. JVM love your blog, esp the Music section. Thank you!

  3. I also love your blog. And require a dick pic. Pls.

    • I had no idea that White Girl Reality was a reality. You love my blog and I love your Twitter; are we not from this century? Thank you!

PS: Dick pic begins with underwear choice…Not a revenue stream left untapped, so the search for waistband sponsorship continues.

  4. Thank you very much for such a thoughtful and well written examination of my Masks series. I appreciate you taking the time to do this. Thanks again. Ben

    • Thank you for reaching out to me with the kind response. I look forward to appreciating your playful, provocative work in person; I hope I captured some of the spirit in which it was made.

      Take care. Jamil

What made you chose the name Noble Savage?

    • Appreciate you asking. On a historical level, the shifting meaning of the term says something significant about our concept of civilization and the human ideals. On a personal level, I am interested in what the expression reveals about the engagement between Western and non-Western cultures; it is also a fair depiction of my style.

    Hi Jamil,

Came across your page randomly looking at truck pictures… Absolutely love your Dekotora pictures! I’m a musician / songwriter about to release my debut album digitally on a small UK indie label and would love to use one for the cover design if you didn’t mind. No budget I’m afraid, just big props and possibly the coolest LP design of 2012…? Let me know if you are interested. Cheers!

    • Hello! I am pleased to hear you are a fan of the trucks and came by the website, but the images are by photographer Satoshi Minakawa ( http://satoshi-minakawa.com/). You should contact him for permission and usage rights. Good luck with your debut and hope to hear it in the US someday…JVM
